I have asked the same question many times!
Those in favour of the Union often spout ” Wee Jimmy Crankie” and Scots the subsidy junkies, English Tax Payers keeping the Scots!
My usual reply is when we leave the Union we take with us our oil, water, electricity, whisky, Gin, renewable energy and stop paying 8% of Engish debt. So I ask what exactly has Westminster ever done for Scotland other than take?
I’m usually met with silence!
